Josh has been active in the field of architecture for over 20 years. He has worked with a number of respected architecture firms throughout the Southeast on a broad range of building types. His focus has always been the improvement of our built environment, while taking into account the distinctness and peculiarities of a region.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University, Josh attained a Master of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Upon gaining some practical work experience, Josh finalized his educational development by earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida A&M University. It was there that he was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal and the Pella Fifth Year Jurist Award.
Currently, in an effort to improve his community and environment, Josh serves on the Savannah Tree Foundation Board of Directors. He spends his spare time restoring his historic home in the Ardsley Park-Chatham Crescent National Register District when he is not coaching soccer or running with his kids.
