The two-story building was designed in concert with three other new buildings on vacant parcels within the Ardsley Park-Chatham Crescent National Register Historic District in Savannah, Georgia. In 2013, Wells Anderson Construction purchased the land to develop moderately priced single-family residences that reflected the traditional architectural character of the district. Ward Architecture + Preservation designed two of these buildings. The approach sought to emulate the design and detailing of the surrounding early 20th century historic context while the interior plan was developed to appeal to the 21st century occupants. The 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath residence was completed in 2014 and sold as a single-family home shortly after.
